Weirdscapes (2025)

An Otherworldly Anthology

Stories set in unusual, sometimes surreal, locations. From an alien planet to the core of our own, the inside of a coffin to the afterlife, parallel universes to the inner landscape of the mind, this anthology will transport you to otherworldly places. We are limited to but a small patch of this Earth—let's explore into our imaginations!

Lix studied painting and photography at NMIT School of Visual Arts in New Zealand before establishing her studio in Australia. An award-winning fine artist, she exhibits regularly in Melbourne, Los Angeles and Aotearoa. As a graphic artist, she's spent over 20 years crafting custom artwork, branding and illustrations for the creatively restless.

When not interrogating human exceptionalism through the helmet visors of her 'Bellwether' canaries, Lix can be found beating on Vampires, Werewolves and Water Hags in Witcher 3, fixing broken things, or writing and recording with her music-producer-husband James and their band Medollic.
